Systems supporting graduate education at UNC  Charlotte

Following is a quick reference to the systems and tools regularly used by graduate faculty and staff.  

eGEM

Enrollment Management: Edit online program listing, access training resources, create enrollment/graduation projections and manage enrollment plan.

eGRAD 

Recruitment: Portal for GPDs to view and add prospective student records; online RSVP form for information sessions and open houses.
Admissions: Portal for GPDs and committee members to review applicant files.

eGA

Graduate Assistantship initiation system, and nomination for competitive tuition award consideration (all require an assistantship)

eGPS

The Graduate School's student funding system is a new tool for Graduate Program Directors to view, nominate, see decisions, and track the complete funding package for all students in their program/s. Access will be provided as GPDs complete in-person or online Canvas training.

 

NinerScholars

UNC Charlotte scholarship portal for faculty and staff to nominate students, or for students to seek funding support.

Curriculog

Course and curriculum management system.

DegreeWorks

Advising/DegreeAudit: Plan and track academic progress and graduation process.

Academic Petition

Graduate Academic Petition: Portal for students or advisors to request an exception to an academic policy, including suspension appeals.

Graduate Catalog

Provides an overview of the University's curriculum, academic programs and policies.

GPDNet

The "go-to" news, information and resource portal for Graduate Program Directors.

Student, faculty and staff University portal.
Banner Self-Service Academic petitions, student transcripts, class lists, grades and more.
eGFA
Graduate Faculty Appointments: Faculty must have current graduate faculty status to chair and/or serve on a student committee. The nomination process is electronic.
