General information
In order to graduate, students must submit their dissertation or thesis to ProQuest, a digital repository of scholarly works. Theses and dissertations will also appear in Niner Commons, UNC Charlotte’s own institutional repository. All theses and dissertations must be formatted according to the Graduate School's standards, and all milestones must be met in order to graduate.
Formatting workshops and general on-line information
Formatting and submission information can be found on this site: please explore the tabs to the left if you are on a desktop or above if you are on a mobile device. In addition, formatting workshops are scheduled throughout each semester. These workshops provide an overview of the thesis and dissertation submission process and the Graduate School's formatting and graduation requirements. Students are invited to bring their own documents and ask questions. Please visit the Center for Graduate Life events calendar to register.
A formatting and submission playlist can also be found on the Center for Graduate Life's YouTube channel.
For thesis or dissertation formatting or submission questions, email Dr. Aura Young (aura.young@uncc.edu).
The deadlines for all graduation milestones can be found on the Registrar's Calendar.
