UNC Charlotte's annual #NinerNationGives 49 hours of fundraising Apr. 5-9 raised over $2 million with $22,391 to benefit students through graduate fellowships and the Center for Graduate Life services.
Julie Green, Graduate Student Services and Fellowship Specialist, was selected by drawing to receive a hand-made Niner quilt donated by Claudia Reynolds, wife of Graduate School Dean Tom Reynolds.
Julie said her donation was in honor of her mother because “like Claudia, she was a talented artist who had the gift of creating lovely works of art. She would have admired the beauty, talent, and work that Claudia put into this quilt. Working with Graduate School fellowships each year, I see many deserving students who could benefit from the Claudia Reynolds Graduate Fellowship.”
