The Graduate School will host the 2021 Graduate Student Success and Wellness conference (GSSW2021) May 6-7, in collaboration with the Virginia Tech Graduate School and Appalachian State University.
Topics for the event include the role graduate students play in research institutions, recent research on food insecurity, and a keynote presentation by renowned poet and professor Nikki Giovanni.
In addition to Giovanni, participants will hear from UNC Charlotte Chancellor Dr. Sharon Gaber and Associate Professor of Anthropology Dr. Nicole Peterson.
